Unboxing Coby Kyros 7 inch Android Tablet: A birthday gift for me from me
A sort of (attempted) product review
Okay okay, since no one’s gonna give me this (anymore! Ahahahahaha bitter teh???) I bought this Coby Kyros tab as a birthday gift for myself. It arrived Oct 13, just in time for Doane’s day and Lola’s birthday, but this is not for them, this is for me. Hehehehe a gift from me for me, isn’t it great? Lols

My netbook is still in cdo for warranty repair and I couldn’t work anywhere I prefer to work, I ordered this online at Lazada.com.ph a day before my birthday and arrived 3 days after.

We And The Online World
It was never a secret that everything can be accessed online. From the good stuff to the “socially-known” immoral stuff. And at a very young age these are available to kids online.
Today’s norms it is very common that the younger ones are more techy that the elders. Most of the time, the elderly or even the Generation Y and X would say, “I’m too old to learn those things.” Thus instead of the older people teach kids about computers, gadgets and the Internet, the kids are teaching the older once instead.
The millenial kids indeed are techy. But should the older generation just let it happen? Aren’t we suppose to guide them and be more knowledgeable about this technologies than them?
There are kids and even adults being bullied online and people being exploited over the Internet. Some gets emotionally depressed because of what they see people talking about them online, that sometimes results to suicides. Look at the rape cases, the list of the recent suicide cases and the recent teenage riots. Are these isn’t because the older once were not aware?
A lot of people say the Cybercrime law can help not probably illeminate but moderate the use of Internet to protect the people. However, there is a slim line between protecting them or prohibiting them. For now there are a lot of loop holes seen by analysts. I hope it gets straightened out before it will be implemented soon.

ILPI Power Curtailment Schedule for April 2012
Just when I thought the days of scheduled brownouts were over, Iligan Light and Palong.. I mean Power Incorporated released their new schedules for Power Curtailment.
According to the released Public Announcement dated April 16, 2012;

What’s New With Facebook? Facebook Messenger
When I opened Facebook this morning I found this popping in the sidebar.
Yes, If you hate the chatbox popping in your screen Facebook now has this FB Messenger where you can install directly to your computer. FB haven’t placed an update in their blog yet, but this is one of the many updates that we’ll be observing with Facebook.
Unlike Timeline, the installation of the FB Messenger is by choice and you won’t be forced to switch to it.
I see many complaints about FB going Timeline, FB says Timeline will stay forever. All I can say is… The only constant thing in this world is change. We just need to learn to adopt with it. We’re getting the service free anyways.

YouTube Has A New Look!
I was quiet surprised when I opened my youtube channel to listen to my usual playlist, this greeted me
The New Look hehe.. look at that familiar name right-there! hmmm
You can now see all your subscription in one place. G+ profile and Facebook Profile can now be link to YouTube.
You can add more channels with a few clicks and you can even find out what videos your friends are into. Now for this last feature, I find it not suitable. Most specially for me where I have to browse cosmetic surgery and plastic surgery for my work. And having my friends see what I checked out is disturbing for me. Well, I hope they can put limitations on it, as to what extent our friends can see in our trail.
However, if this is the case, I may have to log out in-order to browse such videos hehehe or I’m not getting it correctly?
