Election PH 2016: President Rodrigo Roa Duterte – Mindanao

duterteismypresidentIt’s almost a year of heated conversations and high level of patriotism. Election 2016 in the Philippines is finally over. Well at least for the voting process but counting and re-validating still continues. Last May 9, 2016, 80% of the voting public participated and exercised their right to VOTE. Some of us almost gave up the possibility of change until one Filipino became a catalyst of change. Our lives changed the moment the Filipinos knew about him running.

Despite black propaganda being thrown, followers never decreased but increased in number. An ordinary Filipino with a good governance records agreed and submit to the cry of Filipinos for change. He accepts the position with an honest statement of having nothing, no money to buy votes or whatsoever, no extra for campaign materials and calls for volunteerism instead. Every Filipino who wanted change spend for their own money, used their own talents and resources to campaign for him.

This election is very meaningful for all of us most specially for the people of Mindanao. The richest land in the country that has always been abused and misunderstood. The richest land in the country that has been deprived and disregarded. Today we mark a history and a victory for Mindanao. We now have our own President from Mindanao. A President with actions and a heart for the Filipino people.

As we chant “change is coming” may we also commit to change our habits and commit to do what is right. I just love what this person said in his post.

May we all change for our selves, our family and our country. Remember change comes from within. 🙂 As your volunteer, I would like to honor you and pray for you as you lead our country. We elected you to lead us, we will definitely help you make this country a better place. Congratulations to our 16th President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

PS: Remember the friends who unfriend you because of this campaign? Reach out to them and be friends again. Politics is a matter of respect. Even if we don’t agree to each others candidates let us not allow politics ruin our relationships. 🙂 LOVE MORE.
