The Miagao Church also known as the Sto. Tomas de Villanueva Parish Church is a Roman Catholic church located in Miagao, Iloilo, Philippines. [Source: Wikipedia]
Miagao Church is one of the oldest heritage protected churches in Iloilo Province. Built by hand with eggs as the binding agent and rocks that give that ultimate grandeur. When you visit Iloilo, other than its excellent beaches, heritage protected churches are the must visit destinations. Although this is purely Catholic culture, people from another sect visit them because of its history and architecture. Vintage and nostalgic at the same time.
Its altar is full of grandeur just like the other churches in the province. Gold fills the entire altar in yellow.
